On warmer days you can sit and relax outside on the terrace, looking out over the garden.

We will personally show you to your room, all of which are tastefully decorated and ‘spotlessly clean'.
Our well-appointed rooms are all en-suite, with dual-spa rainfall showers, luxury pocket-sprung beds, Smart TV's and equipped with everything you will need during your stay.
Complimentary ‘special touches’, such as Devon bottled water, luxury toiletries and a gift bag of our homemade fudge make a stay at The Cleveland ‘extra special’ and memorable.

The focus is all about the ingredients and fantastic local suppliers, all cooked to perfection.
The Cleveland is ideally located in Torquay.
We are away from the busy main roads, so you can enjoy a peaceful nights sleep.
However, most of the local attractions, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance or a short taxi ride away.
Public transport is very close by too, so why not leave the car and enjoy an open-top bus ride around The Bay?

We have worked in the hospitality industry for all of our careers – both as professional chefs and front of house, working with industry icons such as Gary Rhodes OBE and Albert Roux OBE.
We moved to Torquay and purchased The Cleveland in 2013 - and haven't looked back since!

Fabulous stay at the Cleveland, fantastic 5 star rooms. Bed was so comfortable, very well equipped room with nice little extras and touches. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, down to fresh milk and a small fridge in the room to the most perfect poached eggs I have ever had. Great location on a quiet street with off road parking, walking distance to the beach with lots of choices of bars and restaurants. Will definitely return!
