Walking distance of Torquay beach, town centre and harbour
One of the best features of The Cleveland is our location. We are situated in a quiet tree-lined road, but within easy walking distance of all Torquay's attractions.
We are just a short walk from Abbey Sands beach, the town centre of Torquay and the beautiful harbour with all the fantastic bars and restaurants on offer.
Public transport is easily accessible from The Cleveland for trips around the bay. Why not take a boat trip to Brixham, or an open-top bus to Babbacombe?
Torquay is also ideally located for trips further afield to explore more of South Devon. Within an hour you could be exploring the rugged landscapes of Dartmoor, or the beautiful golden beaches of The South Hams.
Amazing in every possible way! I stayed in the traditional double bedroom and the bed was very very comfortable; one of the best I've slept in for a while. The room itself was up to top notch standards. Each room is equipped with a smart TV and kettle. Thoughtful extras were also laid out (biscuits, hot chocolate, Clipper teas and more). The full-English breakfast was amazing... I highly recommend staying at the Cleveland.
